In short
ToolPepper's video tools run in your browser. Videos, music and logos you open from your device are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. We don't require an account and don't collect your name or email.
What is stored on your device
So you can pick up where you left off after a reload, your browser keeps your current video, any imported music or logo, and your editor settings in its own storage (IndexedDB and local storage) on your device. This data never leaves your device. It is cleared when you click “Upload other video” (your logo is kept for the next video until you remove it), or when you clear your browser's site data. Your light/dark theme choice is also stored locally.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate (for example, how many people visited a tool page). It does not use cookies and does not receive your videos or files.
Third-party services
The website is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request data (such as your IP address) to deliver pages. The first time you export a video, your browser downloads the open-source FFmpeg video engine from the unpkg content delivery network; no files or personal data are sent with that request.
Changes
If we add features that change what data is handled — for example advertising — we will update this page before they go live.
