Add a logo or watermark to a video

Put your logo in a corner of your video to brand it or protect it. Choose the corner, size and opacity, check the preview and download. Your logo is remembered for the next video.

How to add a watermark to a video

  1. 1

    Choose your video

Drop it on “Drop your video here” or tap “Choose file”. The “Text & logo” tab opens for you.

  2. 2

    Add your logo

Under “Logo / watermark”, choose a PNG, JPG or WebP image up to 5 MB.

  3. 3

    Set corner, size and opacity

Pick Top left, Top right, Bottom left or Bottom right, size S, M or L, and an opacity from 20% to 100%.

  4. 4

    Download

With “Full video” selected under “Split into clips” (the default), you get one MP4 with your logo. If you split the video, every clip gets the logo.

Preparing your logo

A PNG with a transparent background works best. Only the logo shows, with no white or colored box around it. A JPG always has a solid background, so it shows as a rectangle.

The file can be PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5 MB. ToolPepper remembers the logo on your device, so you do not need to add it again for the next video.

Choosing opacity and corner

At 100% the logo is fully solid. Lower opacity, such as 40–60%, makes it see-through, so it marks the video without hiding the picture.

On Reels and TikTok, the app shows buttons on the right side and text at the bottom. A top corner usually keeps your logo visible.

Tips for watermarks

  • Use a white or light logo on dark videos and a dark logo on bright videos.
  • Size S is often enough for a watermark; use M or L for a brand logo you want people to notice.
  • Want your name as text instead of an image? Use “Text on video” on the same tab.
  • Check the live preview to make sure the logo does not cover faces or important text.
